The Forestry School
Winterthur (FSW) is a joint initiative of the two companies SILVACONSULT AG and
WaKa Forest Investment Services AG.
Objectives

Knowledge transfer: familiarise finance professionals with forestry and the wood processing investments
•
Raise awareness and understanding of the specific financial, natural, and socio‐economic production factors of forestry and wood industry on
a global perspective. •
Explain the real potential of carbon forestry.
Target
group Timberland
and wood industry investors (individuals and/or institutions), forest carbon investors
and project developers, investment fund managers, bankers, forest brokers, financial
analysts. Knowledge in forestry is not needed, however the participant should have
a background in investment management and/or a relation to the topic.
Course
packages Our
courses are targeted for mid--‐sized groups (6 ‐12 persons). However, if you want to register a small group (3 - 6 persons), we will also be able to accommodate your needs. Individuals,
who wish intensive or specific training and coaching, may approach us, too.
